For Instructors of Nursing Review Course
and ESL/English Instructors
Part I. Position Requirement
Educational requirements for Medical Review Instructor
- Degree of M.D. (Medical Doctor) with a minimum of 6 year of training course in the capacity of Medical Review Instruction
- Candidate of Science or Doctoral Degree (preferable)
all the educational credentials should be supported by Diplomas and transcripts issued by legitimate Educational Institution of Russia or former USSR Medical Schools and Universities
- Resume with attached Letters of Recommendation
Experience requirements
- Teaching, lecturing experience (a must)
English language proficiency requirements
- Fluency in spoken language (distinct articulation and pronunciation)
- Proficiency in reading and writing
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology
Teaching skills requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the given material
- Ability to involve and organize the class (take control)
- Ability to identify the weak link students in the group
- Ability to give the necessary volume of material evenly and according to the time frame of the class
- Ability to keep teacher's papers (attendance sheets, class journals etc.) in order
Personal requirements
- Punctuality experience
- Diligence
- Detail-concentration
- Be dressed in professional, proper attire (no jeans or gym-shoes)
Communicational Skills requirements
- Excellent communicational skills
- Ability to dispense attention evenly among the Clients
- Ability to identify gaps in understanding of the subject and ask right questions
- Ability to explain the subject in the most appropriate terms
- Ability of assurance of Clients' total grasp of the material
Computer skills requirements
- Basic computer knowledge
- Basic Internet knowledge
Flexibility requirements
- Ability to work at least 8 hours a day
- Ability to work six (6) days a week (except Sunday)
- Ability to work six (6) months in a row without a break, personal days, and sick leaves etc.
- Ability to work extra time if needed (personal tutoring sessions, etc.)
Part II. Duties
- Arrive at the Class location at least 30 minutes prior to the Class beginning
- Conduct fifty (50) minutes class sessions (lesson) strictly in accordance with the classes' schedule and Time-table as herein presented with no more than ten (10) minutes breaks between them
- Conduct six (6) months of SSA Curriculum without requests for breaks
- Prepare Lecture Plan and Practical Training Plan for each session in the most sufficient and diligent way
- Explore the Internet and other possible resources for the requirements of the CGFNS qualifying examination and NCLEX-RN licensure examination; see and understand every aspect of said requirement in detail, their similarities and differences; bring that knowledge home to the Clients most efficiently
- Allow time as needed for training and overviews of SSA Curriculum with the Program Director in the USA (phone conference)
- Allow time for private tutorial sessions as needed
- Keep the Attendance Sheet of the Clients for every class
- Report the Attendance Sheet of the Clients to FCI Global on a weekly basis
- Keep the Class journal with the Clients' progress esteems for each group
Part III. Duties not to complete
- The Training Instructor must never read lecture from the book
- The Training Instructor must never bring to the class and use self-prepared, irrelevant to the Program material
- The Training Instructor must never change the schedule or time-table
- The Training Instructor must never change or alter the Program
Part IV. Communication with FCI Global
- Regular basis communication
- Cell Phone possession (a must)
- Conducting phone conferences with FCI Global on a weekly basis; (availability 4:00pm - 5:00pm Moscow time - a must)
- Notify via e-mail of a need of an unscheduled phone conference (date and time)
- Any emergency situation should be reported to the MSTO Onsite Manager
